About Sarah

For most of my life, I was someone who pushed through.

I built a successful corporate career, led teams, met deadlines, and carried significant responsibility. At the same time, I was navigating life as a mum, balancing work, family, and the many roles women often hold quietly behind the scenes.

Like so many women, I became very good at taking care of everyone else.

I valued resilience, productivity, and pushing forward no matter how I felt.

But somewhere along the way, my body began whispering to me.

Fatigue. Brain fog. Hormonal shifts. Anxiety. A sense that something inside me was changing.

Like many women entering perimenopause and menopause, I ignored the early signs. I told myself to keep going, to push harder, to hold everything together.

Eventually my body stopped whispering and started demanding to be heard.

Menopause became a turning point — not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. I realised I had spent years prioritising work, family, and responsibilities while quietly neglecting my own need for rest, nourishment, and balance.

That realisation changed everything.

I began to slow down.
To listen more closely to my body.
To reconnect with practices that support energy, hormones, and the nervous system.

Yoga, breathwork, nourishing food, gentle movement, time in nature, and supportive community became powerful tools in helping me rediscover balance.

What also became clear is that so many women are navigating this stage of life alone.

Women who have spent decades building careers, raising families, and caring for others often reach midlife without the guidance or support they deserve.

That is why I created Menopause Hub and The Menopause Movement.

These spaces are designed to support women with:

• practical guidance
• nourishing lifestyle and nutrition support
• gentle movement and wellness practices
• supportive community and connection

Because menopause is not a disease and it is not an illness.

It is a natural rite of passage.

A powerful transition that invites us to slow down, listen more deeply, and begin caring for ourselves in a new way.

It asks us to move differently, nourish ourselves differently, and honour the wisdom of our changing bodies.

When we begin to support ourselves with the right tools — movement, nutrition, rest, and community — something shifts.

We stop fighting our bodies and start working with them.

Menopause can become a time of renewal, strength, and deeper self-connection.

My hope is to create spaces where women can move, connect, learn, and support one another through this important stage of life.

A space where we remember that our bodies are not failing us.

They are simply asking us to honour our beautiful, magnificent selves in a new way.

Why The Menopause Movement Matters

Too many women experience menopause feeling confused, unsupported or alone.

The Menopause Movement was created to change that.

Through community, movement and shared experience, we create spaces where women reconnect with their bodies, support one another and move through this stage of life with greater confidence and strength.

You don’t have to navigate menopause alone

Join a supportive community of women reconnecting with their bodies through movement, nature and shared experience, because this journey is easier when we walk it together.
